The Statue of Liberty

A visit to New York City would be incomplete without seeing the Statue of Liberty, gift from the people of France in 1886. We took the ferry from the station in Jersey.

Approaching Liberty Island:

The new One World Trade Center can be seen partially erected in Manhattan, already towering above the rest of the skyline.

Justin was starting to feel a little sea sick!

We accidentally hopped on the wrong ferry on the way back- here we are landing on Manhattan when my car was parked in Jersey!
