The Grand Canyon at first sight

We arrived at the canyon late in the afternoon, so we didn’t have time to do much more than take tourist pictures at the tourist viewpoints.

Thinking that we could do better for pictures, we went down a bit further from the path and took the following shots:

We decided that we would climb down to the bottom of the canyon the next day, so I set up my brand new tent! Tomorrow would be the real deal.
